Izms by Damian is a Black-owned, grassroots, lifestyle brand. A brand that is solely focused on sharing the wisdom imparted to me by my father, Matthew “Rico” Cousin. With his straight-forward "shoot-from-the-hip" personality, he would drop some powerful words of wisdom - he called them “Izms” - with a dash of humor. His words have had a major impact on my life.
The seeds he planted, years prior, started to take root and I began to apply the truth of these Izms to my own situations. My life was forever changed. Empowered by my father's wisdom, I now embark on a journey to plant those very same seeds in the souls of all who find them, and since you are here, reading this, that means you!
My ultimate desire is to honor his legacy by sharing his words with the world, in hopes that each and every Izm will touch the heart, mind and spirit of all who read them, wear them and ultimately apply them to their life.
